Natif de Constantine, Mohamed Redha Boudebagh est considéré comme l'un des chanteurs de référence de musique malouf, un style de musique d’héritage arabo-andalous. Il a grandi dans une famille d’artistes, où la musique lui est devenue comme une seconde nature. Il a pu ainsi évoluer à travers la pratique de chants spirituels soufis aissaoui. Il était l’élève d’illustres Cheikhs tels que le Cheikh Belkacem Abdecharef, l’icône du style aissaoui de la région. Après avoir entamé sa carrière artistique à la zaouia aissaouie de Constantine, il a pris part à de nombreuses festivités locales et à des événements internationaux, que ce soit au travers l’expression du chant ou du luth, instrument pour lequel Redha prouve son talent de musicien confirmé.
A native of Constantine, Mohamed Redha Boudebagh is considered one of the reference singers of Malouf music, a style of music of Arab-Andalusian heritage. He grew up in a family of artists, where music became like second nature to him. He was thus able to evolve through the practice of Aissaoui Sufi spiritual songs. He was a pupil of illustrious Cheikhs such as Cheikh Belkacem Abdecharef, the icon of the Aissaoui style in the region.
